With the new color chart Sigma Colour System C21,3 the professional painter may use 1,950 NCS colors, 185 colors RAL and 36 metallic colors. The 36 metallic colors are accompanied by the abbreviation MT.

A novelty in the NCS 21.3 is an indication of the light reflection of each NCS hue. The value of the light reflection is a part of the white light (100 %). Architects and interior designers often take this into account when choosing the type and power of lighting from one location.

At the end of the chart, you will find a page with different degrees of brightness. This index gives you an idea of the appearance of a matte or glossy paint. You already know the subdivision of NCS colors in 40 color groups recognizable, starting with the lightest colors and ending with the most chromatic color.
